Our annual Summer Volunteen opportunity is open! Ideal Volunteen applicants will be starting grades 9-12 in the fall and wish to volunteer a minimum of 10 hours during the summer. CAPL Volunteens’ main task is helping in person with Summer Reading Sign-Up and other aspects of the Summer Reading Program. Volunteens will also have the opportunity to help with kids’ programs and classes.
Applicants may be contacted for a phone interview. Information about volunteering will be communicated via email, so please use a valid email address that you check regularly. Mandatory training will take place at the Library on Friday, May 29 from 3:30-4:15 pm. The deadline to apply is May 28, 2026, to be considered. We have a max capacity of 40 volunteers, so if our capacity is reached, the application may close early.
Please note: volunteering at CAPL does not count towards court-ordered community service hours.
