Interested in volunteering at the Library this summer? Please apply by May 26, 2023, to be considered.
Ideal Volunteen applicants will be starting grades 9-12 in the fall and wish to volunteer a minimum of 10 hours during the summer. Volunteens’ main task is helping in person with Summer Reading sign-up and other aspects of the Summer Reading program. Volunteens will also have the opportunity to help with kids’ programs and classes. Applicants may be contacted for a phone interview. Mandatory training will take place at the Library on Tuesday, May 23 from 4-4:45 pm.
We also offer a year-round volunteer opportunity for Teens to write book reviews, which is open to those in grades 6-12.
Please note, volunteering at CAPL does not count towards court-ordered community service hours.
